Start with the approach, not a compass. What your door sees — a wall, a long corridor, a staircase, a busy street — changes how the entry reads far more than its bearing does. Only then refine with a compass reading: north is associated with career and steady growth, south with visibility, east with health and family, west with creativity and completion. They're two ways of saying the entry should be a working opening, not a wall.
